Scope of Work: Engineering Design (MEP) and Construction Administration Services
In late 2011, the owners of Dance Place as well as Hickok Cole Architects approached INTECaec to provide mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire-protection engineering design, construction documents, and construction administration. The project involved the partial demolition and renovation of 8,500 square feet of the facility, as well as a 4,000 square-foot two-story addition.
The project scope included the design of a combination package: rooftop unit for up to 100% outside air and a multi-split VRV system with energy recovery units; HVAC; plumbing; a fire-alarm installation; a sprinkler-system design; and plumbing calculations for water, sewer, and gas.
